The name Panini has always been connected to the fortunate business of children’s stickers. In fact, since 1960 Giuseppe and Benito Panini, shortly thereafter joined by their two brothers, Umberto and Franco Cosimo (in the photo), produced and distributed the popular footballer stickers in news stands. Soon after, joined by other collections dedicated to history, entertainment and to characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Barbie who are loved all over the world…
In 1989, when the Panini brothers decided to expand their publishing house, the branch dedicated to books was founded by Franco Cosimo Panini, who gave his own name to the new company which covered the editorial part.
Today FCP operates in these branches:
- prestigious art books, with facsimile editions of prestigious handmade illuminated miniature codes.
- publishing for children, including the success of the doggie “Pimpa” by Altan, and Comix, where they make their début with the popular characters such as Daniele Luttazzi and Fabio Fazio.
- The Panini Encyclopaedia of Italian Football, including the collections, the up-dating and the special volumes of all the football stickers from the Panini edition in 40 years of work.
